MetaMask holders now see trust signal badges appear right inside the asset selection tools they use every day. The Oct. 14, 2026 browser extension release placed those badges in the Send asset picker so users can spot trusted tokens before confirming a transfer. The same release added the badges to the Manage Tokens view and to real-world asset tokens, giving holders a consistent visual cue across those screens.

What the badges show in practice

Holders open the Send picker and the new badges sit next to each listed token. The design standardized warning badges across token views so every warning looks the same no matter which screen a user checks. Real-world asset tokens received the same treatment, which means holders working with those assets get the identical indicator style.

The update added support for opening MetaMask deep links that come from link.metamask.com. Holders who click those links now land inside the extension instead of facing extra steps. The change keeps the flow inside the wallet they already trust for daily transactions.

Network forms and confirmation screens

Add and Edit Network forms moved to the latest design so holders who add chains see the current layout. The hide-token confirmation switched to the standard modal design, which keeps the action inside the same visual system used elsewhere in the extension.

Where the details live

The 13.52.0 release notes posted on the GitHub page list every change that reached holders on Oct. 14, 2026. The deep-link work appears in the related pull request that the release notes reference. Consensys holds the copyright notice inside the repository, confirming the development path behind the extension.

Holders who keep the browser extension current receive these updates automatically. The badges and link support sit in the same places users already open when they manage tokens or send assets. No new accounts or extra steps are required beyond the version bump itself.

The changes focus on visibility inside existing flows. Send picker, Manage Tokens, and real-world asset sections now carry the standardized badges, and deep links resolve cleanly from the official domain. That combination gives holders clearer signals without changing how they normally interact with the wallet.
